MARC WILSON GIVES LECTURE ON KNOWLEDGE SHARING AND ARCHITECTURE

Initial feasibility studies into a new research and visitor centre for the Baltic Sea are being launched by the Swedish Bio-inspired Forum at Simrishamn on the 30th June. At this event partner Marc Wilson will be giving a lecture on the subject of “Knowledge sharing and architecture”.

The lecture focuses on how the conscious planning of functions, spaces and environments can create a physical framework that enhances an organisation’s possibilities for knowledge sharing between individuals and across departments. With inspiration from the traditional town square where events can be programmed, follow a predetermined rhyme, or left to chance encounters. There is a need for architecture to embrace scale and hierarchy again and provide the necessary platform for companies to maintain their competitive edge through the innovation their people provide, will be the message of the lecture.
