Horten - Grand opening of new headquarters

On October 30th contractor Pihl handed over the law firm Horten’s new headquarters of an exceptionally high quality of workmanship. After which a month of hectic activity followed – furnishing and moving into the new facilities – an activity in which SITE was deeply involved. SITE has been responsible for the interior design, including the organisation of tender with regards to furniture and the design of custom furnishings.

The deadline was set to December 1st, at what time Horten held a reception and official grand opening. Business partners and competitors, clients, and family members were invited to the event, which was hugely successful with an unending stream of impressed visitors. SITE’s role as consultant for Horten started in the first quarter of 2006. The project was initiated with a site research, an analysis of Horten’s needs and possibilities. When the decision to move to new headquarters was made, based on SITE’s analysis, SITE assisted in finding location and developer. With the gained, in-depth knowledge of Horten's needs, SITE wrote the building programme for the new headquarters. Later in the process SITE played the roles as tenant’s advisor as well as interior designer. read more
