1st Prize Blågårds Skole

Together with Juul & Nielsen (contractor) and Søren Jensen (engineer), SITE has won the competition for a turn-key contract for Blågårds Skole in Copenhagen. The merging, remodelling and renovation project comprises 7,570 sqm distributed in three existing buildings, which will house “indskoling” (grades 0-3), “mellemtrin” (grades 4-6) and “udskoling” (grades 7-9) respectively.

The remodelling includes transforming the upper gymnasium which features unique skylights, into a canteen and lifts are established in all three buildings. Furthermore, a new health section comprising of clinics for dentists, health visitors and speech therapists will be established.
